Paediatric Solutions

Grow and live better! Paediatric orthoses improve function, support normal growth, help develop strength and coordination and minimise deformities.

Supporting children and parents

We understand that orthotic intervention can be difficult to integrate and adapt into the lives of young children and their families. Our team works closely with physiotherapists and other professionals in a multidisciplinary approach to support parents and children through the entire process of design, fitting and use.

Personalised care for your child

Our skilled and experienced team of orthotists provide complex orthotic solutions to paediatric conditions.  We have access to the latest materials and technology to enable children to excel now and in the future.  We understand that every child is different and aim to provide personalised support. We offer children the option to a play a part in designing their orthosis with the choice of colours of patterns to promote ownership and acceptance.

State of the art technology combined with ongoing personalised support for children and parents.

Support for a range of conditions

Custom paediatric orthoses can play an important role in supporting children with acute injuries or conditions including:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • CTEV (Club Foot)
  • Spina Bifida
  • Knee Conditions
  • Foot & Ankle Conditions
  • Neuromuscular Conditions

We work in collaboration with your rehabilitation and/or physiotherapy team to find the right solution for your child.  If you’re unsure, get your GP, physiotherapist, or rehabilitation specialist to talk to us about possible solutions.

It is important that children receive early interventions for maximum benefits, and that their orthoses keep up with their growth and changes in development.
