Northern Prosthetics joins the AOPA Consumer Experience Program

We are proud to announce that we have just been onboarded into the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association’s (AOPA) Consumer Experience Program (CEP). The CEP is a nifty tool that will allow us to obtain quality feedback from our clients after treatment, that we can then use to make improvements to our service to ensure all Northern Prosthetic clients are receiving a high level of care. Whilst we always welcome you to voice your feedback to us at anytime and in anyway that feels comfortable to you, this new tool will allow us to access and track clear data in line with benchmarks and trends that will allow us to guide our future service provision.

The CEP sees clients invited to complete an online survey post treatment cycle, which is completely anonymous (unless you request contact from us!). The survey includes detailed questions around elements of our service such as communication, safety & access, which will allow us to highlight what we are doing well – and where we can improve – when it comes to client-focused service. We can then use this information to make required changes, direct our in-house training & development & recognise and celebrate what we do well. The other handy element of the CEP is that it allows us to look at our results against other participating providers Australia wide, ensuring that the quality of care we provide here in our rural clinics matches that available elsewhere.

We will begin sending out invites to complete the survey to eligible clients across all our locations in the very near future, so keep an eye on your email, and feel free to ask your treating clinician or our friendly admin team for more information or to check your eligibility. We are excited to get started and to have the CEP to help guide our service going forward!
