Sockets & liners

A well-designed socket is critical to your comfort and function while walking or standing.  We carefully fit and manufacture your socket, using a combination of plastics, carbon fibre and resins to create a light weight, durable prosthesis.

Socket liners or interfaces fit between your residual limb and the prosthesis to absorb forces and assist in suspension of the prosthesis.  Liners act like a second skin, maximising your comfort.  We provide a range of different socket interfaces.

Knees

Prosthetic knees continue to improve with advances in hydraulic and computer technology.  We work with a wide range of devices from basic safety knees to microprocessor-controlled knees that constantly monitor and adjust to provide incomparable stability and function.

Hips

There are a range of prosthetic hips on the market and the technology and features just keep getting better.  We can fit you with a traditional hinged hip, or the latest hydraulic prosthetic hip that provides 3-dimensional pelvic movement for a truly natural gait.

Feet

These days it’s possible to produce feet to suit all occasions and needs, from light weight feet for less -active users to energy-stored carbon spring feet with complete shock absorption for runners and high activity amputees. We can also customise amputee fins for those wanting to get in the water.

Water resistance

Waterproofing technology is taking big steps forward, meaning these days you can stand in the shower, laze by the pool or head to the beach with family and friends. We can create your new leg to handle whatever life throws at you.

Cosmesis & life like silicone

If you don’t like the look of prosthetic componentry, there are many options for cosmetic covers available for your limb. We can even use advanced silicone technology to match your prosthesis to your sound limb, right down to the toenail.  Or use your imagination and design a limb that reflects your own personality.
